97. Till the World Ends – Britney Spears
Stats:
- #3 for 1 Week in 2011 (May)
- Best higher charting song: Rolling in the Deep - Adele
- Worst higher charting song: E.T. - Katy Perry
- Top 100 #3 Hits 1955-2002 Rank: NEW SONG
Britney has always been such a pop weathervane and the move to EDM and europop has been no exception. Indeed it is even one of the places where she exceeds expectations rather than merely being window dressing for the song itself. Till The World Ends earns every cintilla of the nihilism it exhibits. The beats are strong but almost soulless, but the background here is more Bad Moon Rising than Genie in a Bottle. Fortunately, the production is slick enough that you wanna keep on dancing until the world ends.
Coming up: #96 - "First class - sittin' next to Vanna White"
I'm not a Britney hater, but I can't see this song here. Autotuned and unmemorable--are you sure you're not ranking the video rather than the song?

First song I really thing doesn't belong anywhere on a list like this. I also don't hate miss Spears but this is pretty forgettable.
