I just stumbled upon this blog a few days ago. Neat site. I've been a GAMES reader/solver/player for years, and it's nice to have found somewhere else to go for a "fix" between issues.
Thanks for this delightful romp...only one clue I'm still puzzling over, and eagerly awaiting the next installment.

Welcome Susy!
Although I am not participating in the current puzzle, (Wrapping up the school year and starting 7 credits of grad school coursework has been consuming me the past few weeks)I am delighted to have another female in our group, as we don't have many. I do hope to free up some time when Bob's contest begins. We'll see though - I have a pretty long "to-do" list this summer.

Susy, its probably the same one we're ALL puzzling over. Can't wait to see what the next group brings.

The one I'm stumped on is in Group 5...

Welcome aboard, Susy! Stumped on a clue in G5 as well (might not be the same one)...and that's not the only one. I had a good run on a bunch of old clues recently, but there are still a few out there that I am struggling with. I'll see if anything manages to pop out at me, though I kind of doubt it at this point.

Well, then, I guess we're not all stumped in the same place. My Jonah is in Group 2.

Is that the end of the groups or are there more coming? We're all waiting for another shoe to drop...

If I've got the right meta-set (and I think I have, since everything's matching up nicely), there's got to be more to come. No idea when, though.
BTW, I'm assuming the contest entry is simply the one item that is missing at the end? Or do you want to see our solutions to all the groups?

I'm assuming it's just the one item. I'm also assuming it's a "one-shot" deal to avoid multiple guesses, though I don't know how accurate that latter assumption is.
I was wondering myself if the clues had ended. As is obvious with discussion amongst us, we still have some more matching to do...but I was thinking perhaps, in some sneaky way, that we don't need clues for the next set or something based on some weird pattern that we should have caught by now or something like that. Obviously, I think too much.

Heading out of town for the next few days. If the "next shoe drops" while I'm gone, hope everyone can fill in the gaps they've been having trouble with after some more matches.
